Dr. Chinkhanlun Guite is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physics at St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi. He obtained his Ph.D. in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, specializing in spintronics and semiconductor spin physics. He teaches undergraduate courses in Electronics, Solid State Physics, Waves and Oscillations, Sensors and Detectors, Research Methodology, and Experimental Physics.
Dr. Guite’s research interests include spintronics, condensed matter physics, semiconductor physics, sensor technologies, and scientific instrumentation, with recent work focusing on spin transport and spin dynamics in germanium semiconductors, advanced sensor technologies, and physics education. He has published several research papers in leading peer-reviewed international journals, including Physical Review Letters, Applied Physics Letters, Review of Scientific Instruments, and Scientific Reports. In addition to his research, he has contributed significantly to curriculum development, laboratory development, and academic administration at St. Stephen’s College. Dr. Guite continues to pursue research in semiconductor spintronics and sensor technologies while actively promoting excellence in undergraduate physics education.
