State Bank of India – Banking Facility
St. Stephen’s College has a full-fledged branch of the State Bank of India which is located within the campus. The SBI manages all the transactions of the college’s accounts. This ranges from fee payments to the management of society accounts.
As far as the junior members are concerned, their interaction with the bank can be classified into two broad categories—personal payments to the college and the financial transactions as part of various Societies and Clubs in college.
A junior member can, with minimal effort, create a personal account in the St. Stephen’s College SBI branch. Doing so would ease the routine payments to be made to College. However, they can also operate using their accounts of other banks. Payments such as fees can either be made by cash or using the online banking system.
The staff at the branch are very student friendly and they guide the junior members for their queries about banking in general.
