Biography
Dr. Alphy Geever is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at St. Stephen's College, University of Delhi. She obtained a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Delhi University. Her research interests include perception, political philosophy, pedagogy, and gender. She teaches undergraduate courses in Logic, Greek Philosophy, Feminism, Social and Political Philosophy, and Philosophy of Perception. She has published on the cognitive impenetrability of perception, and continues to research on the epistemic consequences of modest empiricism, particularly in the context of gender and minority rights. She has been invited as a resource person for FDPs on Whole Person Education across the country. At St. Stephen's College, she has been a staff advisor to the Social Service League, and has also headed the Internships Liaison Office.
