Celebrating Mr. Rajan: 43 Years of Exemplary Service to St. Stephen’s College

Mr. Rajan, Technical Assistant in the Department of Physics at St. Stephen’s College, retired from service on 31 August 2026 after an exceptional 43-year association with the institution.

He joined the College on 1 August 1983 as a Laboratory Attendant and subsequently served as Technical Assistant. Throughout his long tenure, Mr. Rajan became widely respected for his technical expertise and remarkable command over experimental apparatus in physics labs. His knowledge, experience, and dependable assistance have supported generations of students and faculty members in the Department of Physics.

Beyond the Department, Mr. Rajan served the College in various capacities, including during admissions and whenever the institution required his assistance. He will be fondly remembered for his ever-smiling disposition, sincerity, and unwavering willingness to help.
