International Level Sports Applicants
International level
Sports candidates who wish to be considered for admission to St.
Stephen’s College under the sports quota are hereby notified that
the College intends to give effect to the prescription (quoted
below) under “Revised Guidelines and Procedures for Admission to
Various Under-Graduate / Post-Graduate Courses on the Basis of
Sports issued by the University:
“The candidates who
have participated in International level given direct admission.”
It is clarified that
due to seats constraints, the College intends to admit not more than
2 candidates under this category.
Candidates who wish to
be considered under this provision are invited to make a special
representation to the Principal not later than the 20th
of June 2011 which will then be processed by the Dept. of Physical
Education and appropriate recommendations made. The Administrative
Officer of the College is authorized to receive such applications
and follow them up with the Dept. of P. E.
This clarification is
being issued in view of the fact that this has not been stated
explicitly in the College Prospectus to avoid confusion, in light of
the inquiries being received.
