THE B.SC. PROGRAMME SOCIETY

THE SOCIETY

The B.Sc. Programme Society, St. Stephen’s College sprung forth in the year 2016 and geared towards infusing in genuine enthusiasm and curiosity for the world of science by organising lectures, workshops and seminars featuring eminent personalities and conducting various science related competitions.

Our Society is a student-run society that is formulated on the idea of the importance of multidisciplinary knowledge in today’s world. We aim at being a platform for all students irrespective of their courses to learn the things that are happening around us. We have always owned up to its ideals of pursuing an all inclusive and enriching journey of learning and experiencing science in unique ways. We are not just limited to science, but explore many different fields/areas, because we feel learning is fundamental.

We as a society aim to go a step further from all other subject related societies, by not just limiting ourselves to catering to the science fanatic crowd but rather, present an enticing front to engage all those people who had been bitten by the bug of science and inquisitivity.

AREAS OF OPERATION AND TYPE OF ACTIVITIES
