About The Course

This course on International Relations offers an in-depth study and understanding of geopolitics from a global perspective through a series of lectures by seasoned practitioners in the different fields. The course encapsulates a broad range of issues within International Relations extending from India’s emerging security challenges in the neighbourhood, the Indo Pacific vision and China, Future wars in Space and Cyber Security, Indo -China Relations, Peace and Conflict Resolution, Education, and environmental concerns  among others.  Needless to say, the commitment to academic excellence, a hallmark of St. Stephen’s College, will be the distinguishing feature of every one of these lectures and panel discussions.

The program will provide ample opportunities for peer learning, promoting dialogues and discussion apart from becoming a part of the illustrious alumni of the St. Stephen’s Centre for Advanced Learning.

Entry Requirements

Undergraduate/Postgraduate/working professionals are welcome. There is no restriction on the academic discipline the applicant comes from.

Students admitted to the programme would normally have some relevant work experience. However, applicants with limited working experience, like an internship, for example, are also welcome to apply.

 Assessing Your Application

Your application will be considered looking at your overall academic merit, your interest in the course and your overall work experience.

 

Program Structure

This is an online program being offered by St. Stephen’s College, Delhi through the St. Stephen’s Centre for Advanced Learning in collaboration with the Global Dialogue Forum.

Each session will comprise a 90 minute-long lecture followed by a Q&A session.

 

Assessment

In course assessment will be based on course participation, interaction and a 3000-5000 word-long assignment.

On successful completion of the course, the student will be presented with a Certificate from the St. Stephen’s Centre for Advanced Learning.

    Fees

    A highly subsidised course free of INR 10,000/- inclusive all of tax and costs.

    Fees once paid is non-refundable.

     

    Application Process:

    Shortlisted candidates will be invited for final interview and the selected candidates will be sent an offer letter.

    The self-motivated and ceaseless activities of over two dozen clubs and societies constitute a very important part of College life and offer a large variety of avenues for self expression. For each subject there is a Society that sponsors extra-curricular lectures and discussion and, in general, tries to stimulate interest in the subject. There are many other academic and cultural society and clubs covering wide range of activities, such as debating, dramatics, mountaineering, film and music appreciation, social service, photography and electronics.
