PUBLIC POLICY AND PARTICIPATION 2.1


Public Policy and Participation 2.1 is a one-of-its-kind experiential boot camp which will be held for students (graduate, post graduate) to develop a nuanced understanding of domains including public policy, democratic frameworks and media. Apart from this, there will be sessions to help the participating young minds understand the social sector and the career opportunities the sector has to offer. Anchored by governance experts of a Prague-based think tank, Foundation for Community Consensus, the programme is part of the Centre for Advanced Learning, St. Stephen’s College, held in partnership with the New York University’s GovLab and the United Nations Global Compact Network India.

Who all are eligible?

  • Students pursuing Graduation degree
  • Students pursuing Masters degree

Age Limit: 24 years

Please note that the fees mentioned above does not include accommodation charges for outstation students. Students coming from other cities for the fellowship have to arrange their own accommodation.

The self-motivated and ceaseless activities of over two dozen clubs and societies constitute a very important part of College life and offer a large variety of avenues for self expression. For each subject there is a Society that sponsors extra-curricular lectures and discussion and, in general, tries to stimulate interest in the subject. There are many other academic and cultural society and clubs covering wide range of activities, such as debating, dramatics, mountaineering, film and music appreciation, social service, photography and electronics.
