ABOUT ST. STEPHEN’S CENTRE FOR
ADVANCE LEARNING (SCAL)

The search for knowledge is unending and the goal is perfection

The motivation for establishing the St Stephen’s Centre for Advanced Learning (SCAL) was to provide sound learning for those interested in enhancing their knowledge and competencies across a variety of academic and professional areas. SCAL is a fledgling Centre of St Stephen’s College but its DNA is the same that propelled the College to become one of the foremost educational institutions in India.

SCAL offers a range of short programmes from Certificate to Diploma and Advanced Diploma levels. Not only are there a range of programmes but there is also a variety of disciplines, skills and competencies that are addressed through these programmes. Announcements regarding these courses are regularly placed on the SCAL webpage available at ….. . After almost two years of success, SCAL will offer, in 2022, the first-ever, Fellowship programme for select neigbouring countries with the support of the Ministry of External Affars, Government of India.

Courses on offer from SCAL are taught by the crème-de-la-crème in specific areas- be it Public Policy, Administration, Finance or Diplomacy. This means that participants on these programmes can expect to listen and gain from the distilled knowledge, experience and wisdom from those who’ve been there and experienced it all first-hand.

Participants are chosen with care to ensure that as far as possible their aims and aspirations coincide with the stated objectives of SCAL. There is therefore, a fairly stringent selection process and only a limited number of participants on each programme are admitted to ensure better interaction with the resource persons. We welcome you to join a programme which will offer you the satisfaction of learning from the best in the hope that you too will, eventually, go on to become the best.

Ad Dei Gloriam.
