PRINCIPAL NOTICES TO FIRST YEAR JUNIOR MEMBERS

CHAPEL  INVITATION

The academic  session (2016-17) of the College will begin on July 19, 2016 with a Communion Service at 8.30 a.m. in the College Chapel followed by breakfast.

My colleagues and I have great pleasure in inviting you and your family to join us in this Communion Service as we invoke God’s blessings on our corporate life.

The new  (first year)  Junior Members of the College who have been allotted a  room in Residence are informed that when they come to join Residence on July18, 2016 they, along with their parents/guardians, are invited for tea  with the Principal  and Senior Members of the College on the lawns of Principal’s  Residence  as per  the schedule given below:-

5.00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.             English, Philosophy, Chemistry

5.30 p.m. to 6.00 p.m.             B.A.Progamme, History

6.00 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.             B.Sc,(Programme), Sanskrit, Mathematics

6.30 p.m. to 7.00 p.m.             Physics, Economics

NOTICE

The First year Junior Members of the College will be inducted into College life on Tuesday, 19th July 2016 with an Assembly at 10.15 a.m. in the College Hall followed by registration in their respective departments. After registration, they will join the Senior Members in the College Dining Hall for Freshmen’s Lunch at 12.30 p.m.

SOCIETIES
The self-motivated and ceaseless activities of over two dozen clubs and societies constitute a very important part of College life and offer a large variety of avenues for self expression. For each subject there is a Society that sponsors extra-curricular lectures and discussion and, in general, tries to stimulate interest in the subject. There are many other academic and cultural society and clubs covering wide range of activities, such as debating, dramatics, mountaineering, film and music appreciation, social service, photography and electronics.
