The Planning Forum
How to become a member ?
Kind of people we need
The Planning Forum is not
looking for a fixed type of person. We do want you to possess some
basic qualities, which would include some knowledge about current
affairs, dedication, a desire to learn and a great degree of
motivation. We would like to emphasize that being a member of The
Planning Forum involves a great deal of work, but it is enjoyable
and rewarding if you are involved.
We would like to make it clear
that even if you are taken as a member, you will be asked to leave
if you do not put in the level of effort that we feel you should be
putting in.
How do I apply?
The Planning Forum recruits
students at the beginning of their first year. The application
procedure is as follows:
-
The president of the society makes a brief
presentation in the morning assembly, and a notice is placed on
The Planning Forum notice board notifying students that the
recruitment process has begun.
-
The first stage of the recruitment process is
to submit a written application as per the guidelines that would
be put up on The Planning Forum’s notice board
-
Selected students are invited for the group
discussion in batches
-
Shortlisted students will be invited for a
personal interview
-
Selected students will be informed through a
notice on The Planning Forum’s notice board
It should be emphasized that
students can only enter The Planning Forum in their first year of
college. No intake of members is done in second and third years.
There is no fixed number of
members that we take in a given year. It all depends on our
requirements and the type of students who apply.
