The following four students have taken part in Para Sports through the year. The College is proud of these students who beat the odds to emerge winners at Inter College, State , National and International level.

Ankur Dhama at Delhi University Sports Competitions

Ankur Dhama of IIIrd Yr History took part Equal Opportunity Athletics Championships called ‘Udaan’ organized by Delhi University from 1st to 2nd April 2016. His performances in the different track events are as given below:

100m Gold Medal
400m  Gold Medal

Ankur Dhama at National Sports Competitions

Ankur Dhama of IIIrd Yr took part in the IBSA 10th All India National Football Championships at New Delhi from 9th Sept to 16th Sept 2015. Ankur played for Delhi State and finished Top Scorer in the Competition. His stellar goal scoring skills helped Delhi secure the Runner Up position in the All India Level. Delhi lost to Kerala in the Final 1-0.

Ankur Dhama of IIIrd Yr History took part 16th PCI National Athletics Championships held Panchkula, Haryana from 26th to 31st March 2016. His performances in the different track events are as given below:

800m Gold Medal  Timing: 2min 08sec
1500m Gold Medal Timing: 4min 32sec
5000m Gold Medal Timing: 16min 48sec
4X400m Gold Medal Timing: 3min 55sec

Ankur Dhama at International Sports Competitions

Ankur Dhama of IIIrd year History IBSA represented India at the World Games at Seoul, Korea from 8th to 18th May 2015 where he took part in the 1500m and 5000m race. Ankur finished 4th in the 1500m with a timing of 4:40min and 5th in the 5000m race with a timing of 19:52min.

Ankur Dhama of IIIrd Yr took part in the Asia Ocieana Athletics Championship in Dubai from 6th to 12th March 2016. Ankur took part in the 1500m   Won the Silver Medal            Timing: 4min 18sec

400m  Won the Bronze Medal Timing: 58.45 sec
5000m Won the Bronze Medal Timing: 16.33 sec

Currently Ankur Dhama is Ranked No.1 in India and Ranked No.2 in Asia (APC released on .

Ankur has also been ranked 6th in the World (IPC World Ranking released on 2015-16).

SOCIETIES
The self-motivated and ceaseless activities of over two dozen clubs and societies constitute a very important part of College life and offer a large variety of avenues for self expression. For each subject there is a Society that sponsors extra-curricular lectures and discussion and, in general, tries to stimulate interest in the subject. There are many other academic and cultural society and clubs covering wide range of activities, such as debating, dramatics, mountaineering, film and music appreciation, social service, photography and electronics.
