The College’s women team took part in the Inter College Badminton Championship organized by Delhi University.

State level competition
Sukriti Bhardwaj of IIIrd year, B.A (Hons.) English took part in the Rajasthan State Ranking Badminton tournament held in Jodhpur, 30th the July to 3rd Sukriti secured the Runner Up position in the Women’s Doubles Event.
Saloni Gupta of IInd year, B.A(Hons.) Economics took part in the Rajasthan State Ranking Badminton tournament held in Jodhpur, 30th the July to 3rd. Saloni secured the winner winner position in the Mixed Doubles Championship.
Aakriti Batra of 3rd year, B.A. (Hons.)Economics took part in the Rajasthan State Badminton tournament held in Jodhpur, 30th July to 3rd August, 2015 in singles, doubles and mixed doubles where she was quarter-finalist, semi-finalist and quarter-finalist respectively in the particular events.
North Zone Inter-state National Badminton Championship
Sukriti Bhardwaj of IIIrd year, B.A (Hons) English took part in the North Zone National Championship held in New Delhi 27th to 30th October, 2015.
Saloni Gupta was the quarter finalist of North Zone Inter-State National Badminton Championship held in New Delhi, 27th to 30th October, 2015.
State level competition
Sukriti Bhardwaj of IIIrd year, B.A (Hons) English took part in the Rajasthan Open State Badminton Tournament:
At the Rajasthan Open State Badminton tournament from 4th to 9th November at Ajmer, 2015, Sukriti Bhardwaj of IIIrd year, B.A (Hons) English won the following positions:
1) Silver Medal in Senior Women’s Doubles Championship.
2) Fourth position in Senior Mixed Doubles Championship.
Saloni Gupta of IInd year, B.A(Hons.) Economics took part in the Rajasthan Open State Badminton Tournament.
At the Rajasthan State Badminton tournament from 4th to 9th November at Ajmer, 2015, Saloni Gupta won the following state championship titles:
1) Gold medal in inter district women’s team championship.
2) Silver medal in Senior Mixed doubles championship.
3) Bronze medal in Women’s Doubles.
Senior National Competition
Sukriti Bhardwaj of IIIrd year, B.A (Hons) English will be participating in Senior National Championship in Chandigarh from 5th.
State Honours and Awards Received:
Sukriti Bhardwaj of IIIrd year, B.A (Hons) English is a Recipient of Rs 1.25 Lakhs from the Rajasthan Government for distinguished performance in Women’s Doubles and Mixed Doubles Championship.
Saloni Gupta of IInd year, B.A (Hons.) Economics is a of Rs 1.5 lakhs from the Rajasthan Government for excellent performance in doubles championships, 9th November, 2015.
Aakriti Batra of 3rd year, B.A. (Hons.)Economics Recipient of Rs. 50,000 from the Rajasthan Government for excellent performance in singles and doubles championships, 9th November, 2015.

Inter College:
The college team took part in the Inter College Badminton Tournament organized by the Delhi University at the University Multi-Purpose Stadium in March 2016. The team fared well beating all odds to reach the Pre Quarter Finals.
State Level Championship:
Kshitij Anant of II Physics (H) was selected to play the Jharkhand State Championship cum Selection Trial 2015-16 in men’s category held at Ranchi,
Jharkhand from 26th March, and reached till the quarter-finals.
Kshitij Anant of II Physics (H) took part in the doubles in the Jharkhand State Championship and reached the quarter-finals.
