JUSTICE MADAN LOKUR ADDRESSES THE ASSEMBLY
On Thursday the 1st of November Justice Madan Lokur,
alumnus and hon’ble judge of the Supreme Court of India, addressed
the morning assembly in the College. He stirred the conscience of
the students, outlining various pockets and practices of injustice
and encouraged them to engage with these and to make a difference.
He talked about the injustice inflicted on children, on juvenile
delinquents, on women etc. “There is a great deal to be done,”
Justice Lukur urged, “and there is much that you can do.”
Justice Lokur is one of the two alumni who now grace the Apex Court
as judges.
The College values and welcomes the involvement of eminent alumni
whose intellectual resources can enliven the College. Those who
