Can I get
admission in B.Com.
(H), B.Com.
(P), B.A.(Psychology),
B.A.(Sociology),
etc. at St. Stephen’s College?
No.
College offers no courses in Commerce, Sociology, Botany, Zoology,
Anthropology, Business Studies, Psychology.
Sale of forms
will commence
from 25th May. Last date
for submission is 11th June.
Interview lists will be out on 14th
June.
Lists will be
displayed on college notice board and web site.

center, which is open every working day from 10AM to 1PM, leave

Personal appearance
at the interview and sports trials is a MUST. No relaxation will
be granted on this point.
Reservations and
Affirmative Action
Attach a certificate
issued by a Diocessan Bishop, or a person or committee authorized by
him/her.
There are NO
reservations for OBC students in St. Stephen’s College.
Ten percent of
seats in all courses are reserved for non-Christian SC/ST and
physically challenged students.
Three percent of seats
in all courses are reserved for physically challenged
students. College building is
accessible to physically challenged
students.
Special library facilities are available for visually challenged
students. College has constituted an Enabling
Committee for Persons with Special Needs that looks after the
welfare of physically challenged persons.
Sports
Sorry, you will not be
considered for admissions under sports category.

Foreign Nationals
Confirm if your
examination appears on the list approved by the Association of
Indian Universities (http://www.aiuweb.org).
This list is also available at the University of Delhi website (http://www.du.ac.in).
You can apply directly if your examination board appears in this
list. If not, get an equivalence certificate from AIU.

For the 2010 admissions
the last date for the receipt of applications forms,
in College, complete in all
respects, is June 11
by 3:30 pm for the First Year class and within three days of
announcement of respective University admission list for the
M.A./M.Sc. (Previous) class.

For admission to the MA/M.Sc courses, only those
candidates are considered for admission who have been cleared by
the relevant Department of the Delhi University. Hence they are
required to apply to the University as well apart from applying
to College.

The
following subjects are NOT taught in College: Commerce,
Sociology, Botany, Zoology, Anthropology, Business Studies,
Psychology

Admission is granted on the basis of academic
record and an interview. Only those candidates are called for an
interview whose percentage of marks at the qualifying
examination (plus 2 of CBSC or ISC or equivalent) is above a
certain cut-off. This cut-off varies
from year to year.

The cut-off percentages for being invited for the
interview are normally put up on the College Notice Board within
three days of the last date for the receipt of the application
forms. The list of candidates invited for
interview is put up soon after. No
postal/separate intimation is sent.
Interviews for admission to various undergraduate courses
begin immediately after according to a schedule notified in the
Prospectus. The list of selected candidates is put up the day
after the interviews for that course are concluded. Fees etc are
to be deposited within two days failing which the seat is given
to the next person on the waiting list.

The number of seats in Residence are extremely
limited. Hence out-station candidates
are advised to make sure that they have alternate living
arrangements in Delhi.

There is no entrance exam for any of the courses
offered by the College.

Sports and academic categories are separate. A
candidate who desires to apply under both the categories must
fill a separate form for each category.
