Instructions for filling up the Application Form

1. Please read the Admissions Page on the college website very carefully to see that you satisfy the minimum requirements for admission.
2. The application form must be printed back to back on an A4 size paper, filled in the candidate’s own handwriting and sent by post to “The Admissions Office, St. Stephen’s College, Delhi 110007” to reach latest by Friday, June 11, 2010. Post early to avoid postal delays. Applications received after the last date shall not be entertained.
3. All the columns in the application form must be filled in. Incomplete forms shall be rejected. Any wrong or misleading information in the application form will disqualify the applicant and if already admitted, will lead to the cancellation of his/her admission.
4. Over-writing, mutilations, erasures etc., in the application form may lead to the rejection of the application.
5. A separate application form must be submitted for each course.
6. A candidate desirous of applying under both academic and sports categories must fill in a separate application form for each category.
7. Each application form must have the following enclosures:
  (a) A demand draft for Rs. 200/= (Rupees Two Hundred) payable to “ Principal, St. Stephen’s College, Delhi” (This includes the fee for the application form and processing charges)
  (b) Christian candidates must attach a copy of the Baptism certificate as well as a certificate from the Pastor of their Church attesting their membership of that Church.
  (c) Schedule Caste / Tribe / Physically Challenged candidates must attach an official certificate to that effect.
  No other certificates are to be attached at this stage
8. Those who wish to avail of On-Campus Residential Facilities must, in addition to the above, download the Residence Form and submit it with a demand draft of Rs. 100/= (Rupees One Hundred) payable to “Principal, St. Stephen’s College Delhi.” In case you are applying for more than one course a photocopy of the Residence form with a photocopy of the demand draft must be attached with each Admission Form.
9. Those who wish to apply under the sports category must, in addition to the above, download the Sports Form and submit the same with a demand draft of Rs. 50/= (Rupees Fifty) per game payable to “Principal, St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.”  In case you are applying for more than one course, a photocopy of the Sports Form/s with a photocopy of the demand draft must be attached with each Admission Form.

A consolidated DD covering  all payment will be preferred.

10 Candidates who qualify for the interview will be interviewed only if they produce -
  (a) Two copies of a recent passport size photograph
  (b) Acknowledgement of the application form which can be printed from the website after it is processed by admission office.
  as also the following documents in original as well as one set of attested copies -
  (i) Character certificate from the institution last attended
  (ii) Certificate of date of birth (normally the secondary school certificate)
  (iii) Subject-wise marks sheets of the last two public examinations
  (iv)  Baptism/ SC/ ST/ Physical Disability certificate where applicable

(In very special cases, and for strongly convincing reasons, a candidate may be permitted to produce the original certificates at a later stage).
